Jose Maldonado, front man of The Smiths tribute band Sweet and Tender Hooligans, is an LA county lifeguard by day and the world’s greatest Morrissey impersonator by night. He’s got the voice, the looks, and a level of dedication that proves that love isn’t just a miserable lie. Join the Mexican Morrissey as he hosts his weekly Smiths-themed radio show, psyches himself up for a performance full of naked torsos and arm-waving, and shares stories of the time Moz turned the tables and stole his identity in return. We would go out tonight but we’re going to stay in and watch this instead. It's A Wonderful Life has become a holiday tradition bolstered by near constant plays on television as the film fell into the public domain in 1975. But in the 90s, a studio would regain control over the film and put copyright to the test. This lesson is proudly sponsored by RØDE Microphones: http://rodemic.com/

Featured in the Bonus-DVD of the Collector's Edition of McCartney "NEW"-Album. Paul McCartney: Something New is an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look into the creative life of the most successful artist in music history. Something New features incredible live and backstage footage shot around the world during his amazing run of shows in 2013 and documents the creation of Paul McCartney's recently released album New. Rapturously received upon its October release, New has rightfully earned some of the best critical notices of Paul's solo discography, including Rolling Stone placing it high in their Top 50 Albums of 2013 and raving "As Macca understands better than almost anyone, rock & roll is fueled by a hunger for good times and an ageless exuberance." Directed by Don Letts, whose credits include the GRAMMY-winning The Clash: Westway to the World, the program also integrates intimate footage of the actual recording process along with vivid memories and incisive reflections of Paul and the album's star-studded production team. There was no particular plan for Paul McCartney's sixteenth studio album. The initial intention was to go in and demo with a handful of producers, and see who was the right fit for the full album. There is Paul Epworth, architect of Adele's monstrously successful 21 and Mark Ronson, known for his work on Amy Winehouse's classic recordings. And close to the family, there is Giles Martin and Ethan Johns, both celebrated producers in their own right and both sons of men renowned for their prominent roles in Paul's previous works. "I did a lot of work with Giles's Dad, George, in Beatles days; Glyn Johns worked with us on Let It Be and Wings stuff," Paul says in case anyone needed reminding. Chronicling yet another peak into Paul McCartney's legendary career, Something New is a rare glimpse into his incomparable artistry, his creative process and the incredible impact his music has all over the world.

Determined to harness the magical essence of the Smurfs, wicked wizard Gargamel (voice of Hank Azaria) creates a diminutive race of mischief makers known as the Naughties. In 1898, two African lions began attacking and consuming railway workers in Tsavo, Kenya. First reports estimated that 135 people fell victim to these "man-eaters," but further research published in 2009 lessened that number to 35 individuals. Over the years, different theories as to what motivated these attacks have varied, and recently we got to talk with two experts who are working towards finding an answer. ↓Need more info?↓ Bruce Patterson's book, "The Lions of Tsavo: Exploring the Legacy of Africa's Notorious Man-Eaters." http://amzn.to/2bCqx3a More about Bruce's work at The Field Museum: https://www.fieldmuseum.org/about/staff/profile/66 "Cooperation and individuality among man-eating lions," Yeakel et al. 2009 http://www.pnas.org/content/106/45/19040.full "Legendary 'man-eating' lions of Tsavo likely ate about 35 people -- not 135, scientists say." https://www.fieldmuseum.org/science/blog/man-eating-lions-ate-fewer-people-believed Dr. Larisa DeSantis' website: http://bit.ly/2bA47lq Colonel John H. But there were planes to catch, and bills to pay. He learned to walk while I was away. And he was talking 'fore I knew it, and as he grew, He'd say, "I'm gonna be like you, dad. You know I'm gonna be like you." And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, Little boy blue and the man in the moon. "When you coming home, dad?" "I don't know when, But we'll get together then. You know we'll have a good time then." My son turned ten just the other day. He said, "Thanks for the ball, dad, come on let's play. Can you teach me to throw?" I said, "Not today, I got a lot to do." He said, "That's ok." And he walked away, but his smile, lemme tell you, Said, "I'm gonna be like him, yeah. You know I'm gonna be like him." And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, Little boy blue and the man in the moon. "When you coming home, dad?" "I don't know when, But we'll get together then. You know we'll have a good time then." Well, he came from college just the other day, So much like a man I just had to say, "Son, I'm proud of you. Can you sit for a while?" He shook his head, and he said with a smile, "What I'd really like, dad, is to borrow the car keys. See you later. Can I have them please?" And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, Little boy blue and the man in the moon. "When you coming home, son?" "I don't know when, But we'll get together then, dad. You know we'll have a good time then." I've long since retired and my son's moved away. I called him up just the other day. I said, "I'd like to see you if you don't mind." He said, "I'd love to, dad, if I could find the time. You see, my new job's a hassle, and the kid's got the flu, But it's sure nice talking to you, dad. It's been sure nice talking to you." And as I hung up the phone, it occurred to me, He'd grown up just like me. My boy was just like me. And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, Little boy blue and the man in the moon. "When you coming home, son?" "I don't know when, But we'll get together then, dad. You know we'll have a good time then." Californian Rockers Return after 15 Years! Stairway to Hell is an EP by the American rock band Ugly Kid Joe. It was released digitally on June 5, 2012, and physical version surfaced a month later, July 9. This is their first studio recording since 1996's Motel California, and their first EP since 1991's As Ugly as They Wanna Be. A video for its single "Devil's Paradise" was released on May 24, 2012 to promote it. Five days later, the EP was available for streaming in its entirety. Another music video for the "I'm Alright" song was released on November 12, 2012. The title of this EP is likely a play on the Led Zeppelin song "Stairway to Heaven" and the AC/DC album "Highway to Hell". On April 14, 2013 the EP was reissued with 3 acoustic bonus tracks and a DVD containing the complete Download Festival set from 2012. Directed by Chris Berkenkamp Produced by DionysusCo. Entertainment
