My first memory of Stefanie was when we were in middle school and she was doing the Electric Slide dance on stage, practicing for an upcoming recital. Twenty-four years later, she is one of the most important people in my life. Stefanie is struggling right now. Diagnosed with a rare disease called, Evan's Syndrome, her days are filled with pain, fear, exhaustion, and worry. There is no cure for this disease and the treatment is harrowing. Worse, it is so uncommon, very few doctors know how to properly take care of her. The doctors at MUSC in Charleston, SC, are doing their best, but so far, her body has resisted all efforts to make her better. With the bills piling up and no end in sight, many of us are more than worried about her future. Yet Stefanie remains upbeat and hopeful. Her faith is strong. Please share this video. Not only in the hopes to help raise funds to pay for her medical expenses, but to spread the awareness of this illness. Despite how rare a disease is, every doctor should know how to treat it, so others don't end up in the same situation Stefanie is in now. Thank you for watching. https://www.facebook.com/Help4Stefanie http://evanssyndrome.org/index.htm http://www.gofundme.com/civbpg
Fox 5 Atlanta ran a story about how oxygen therapy has helped suffers of debilitating cluster headaches. Many studies have shown that by breathing oxygen can reduce attacks and alleviate the pain of current ones.
