Introduction to ISO TS 16949 by Mr. A V Manivannan www.sripadhmam.com
You may have heard of ISO 9001, but have you heard of the automotive standard TS 16949? I'll teach you the basics.
Developed in 1999, by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) alongside ISO’s technical committee for quality management, ISO/TS 16949 is a standard specific to the automotive sector that works as a complement to ISO 9001. Today, it is one of the most widely used international standards in the automotive industry around the world. In order to face important new challenges that have risen in the ever-changing global scenario, the IATF and ISO have agreed to discontinue their joint development of ISO/TS 16949, and the IATF is releasing a new standard: IATF 16494. In this webinar, Gus discusses what lead to the change, new and updated concepts, key changes, key requirements as well as steps for a seamless transition and important transition dates every organization making the change from ISO/TS 16949 to IATF 16949 must be aware of.
Mock up audits conducted during the internal auditors training for ISO/TS 16949:2009 The users can also visit and follow the blog for additional details : www.mentorqueries.wordpress.com
