SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/2otXnqK In this video, I will be discussing how Weyland Yutani discovers LV-426 and how they knew to re-direct the Nostromo to investigate the signal from the Derelict. Since the first Alien film was released, there have been quite a few theories on what Weyland Yutani actually know and how they come to learn of the craft on LV426 and the contents of its cargo. As we delve into the prequel movies, the basis of the story seems to shape up and tie in with the company’s evolving objectives. With at least one more movie to come, we are still left guessing on the company learns of the xenomorph and how it prioritises the recovery of the specimen however it does seem that we are beginning to see the pieces moving into place. This video will discuss the company’s agenda, the touchpoints in the story that manipulate the company’s focus and theories on how the company learns of the Xenomorph species and of the brood of eggs on LV426. Let me know what do you guys think in the comments section. Do you reckon company are made aware of Xenomorph throughout the films? Or do you think they only uncover the creatures identity as they send a recovery team to intercept the covenant? SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/2otXnqK Check out my latest video where I will be discussing a number of theories on the events that lead up to the death of the Space Jockey and how he subsequently crash lands on LV426. Before the release of Alien: Covenant, and indeed Prometheus, it had long been presumed that the Space Jockey had died as a result of an encounter with the Xenomorph species the distant past and his crew are terrorized by the creature in the same way the crew of the Nostromo are after discovering the brood of eggs. So in this video, I will have a look at some fan theories to see if we can get some more insight into how the Space Jockey crash lands on LV-426. Let me know what you guys think in the comments section... Do you reckon the Space Jockey was killed in the distant past by the Xenomorphs or do you believe that we will see his demise in the next installation in the franchise? Many have speculated that WY had prior knowledge of the xenomorph on LV-426 before the Nostromo left Earth. Ripley herself seemed to believe so, but is there any proof of this?
**NEW HD VERSION HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RDyMrySrQM == NOTE: If anyone knows of additional deleted Planetoid or Space Jockey footage (other than the "cutscene" from the 2003 SE DVD) not shown please comment or message! I want to re-create as much of these sequences as possible for an art project. Even if on VHS or LD/CED -- Thank you!! About four minutes of all the excised footage I could cull from various Making of & Behind the Scenes documentaries on ALIEN depicting the away team on the Planetoid, around the Derelict, and in the Space Jockey chamber. Audio is looped from either the Theatrical Print or the "Giger's Alien" documentary. Footage quality is pretty crummy but I'm working from degraded sources. Now that I know what docs have which clips I'm intending to go about finding better quality sources. Some footage repeats due to it being used on more than one documentary, will figure out what to trim on a subsequent edit. Intention is then to work the clips back into an assembly of just the Planetoid/Derelict/Space Jockey scenes from the Theatrical Print along with the cutscene footage found on the 2003 SE DVD. It's just an art project, I have no intention of "restoring" ALIEN just have a thing about space suits and ALIEN is my favorite movie featuring them. No infringement intended. For artistic, historical and educational purposes only. If you like ALIEN please be sure to obtain a licensed copy to enjoy from your favorite retail or online movie outlet.
