On October 6, 2014 I was given the chance of a lifetime. I got to fly in the #7 F-18 Blue Angel jet with Lieutenant Ryan Chamberlain. It was life changing. If you admire the Blue Angels, just know that the cockpit experience is so intense that it takes a very SPECIAL person to be able to do what they do. Thank you to Good Jet and all the people there for the hospitality, thanks to the Blue Angels for the amazing flight and thanks to my friends and family for supporting me while I was scared as hell. ♥
I've disabled the comments because the majority of them were very misinformed. For those of you who can't be bothered to click on my profile- I am an aerobatic pilot and have been for six years. This is my aircraft (Extra 300L) and I am sat in the pilot's seat and my coach (Mark Jefferies) is in the co-pilots seat. He is the one flying. At the end of each flight, he usually does something crazy while I hold on for dear life. G forces are a lot more difficult to endure if someone else is flying. Check out mark's channel for some more awesome flying.
Thought I'd share a video of a friend who I took flying for the first time. She certainly enjoyed doing aeros and it proved to be a fun experience for all!
First aerobatic flight with my lovely girlfriend. Unfortunately the camera couldn't handle the backround noise. ;) Flown on the ASK21 of the aerobatic supporting association of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Max. Maximale Lastvielfache: +3,8/-2,8 g.
